Båden blev oprindelig bygget til Admirals Cup i 89 efter IOR 2Ton reglerne.
Båden indeholder utroligt meget dyrt grej og er bygget til kapsejlads men er idag
modificeret af nuværende ejer, som har ejet båden i mere end 20 år, således den kan benyttes til både
kapsejlads, Tursejlads samt undervisning og teambuilding formål.
Med et DH Lystal fra 2009 på 1.38 er der tale om en båd med et stort fartpotentiale, men også en båd der
kræver sin besætning hvis den skal sejles fuldt ud.
Udstyret og sejlgarderoben er omfattende, derfor er det en båd som skal ses og opleves, deraf er bådens specifikationer på Engelsk.

PENZZINI IOR Racer / Cruiser HUGIN


This well-built Penzzini IOR Racer is built in Italy in 1989 for the IOR 2 Ton rule for participating in Admirals Cup. The present owner had the boat for 24 year and have during his ownership, done a lot of changes and improvement on the boat, for easier and safer handling, and also better comfort on- and below deck. The high racing mast and mainsail have been fitted with Frecderiksen Track and cars, so reefing and take down is safe and easy for two persons. The headsail and headstay is outfitted with furling system. The whole rudder system is changed to big whhel steering system with use of JEFA Carbon steering wheel and double rudder radiant for more comfortable steering over longer distance. Larges hatches fore and after with good storage below. All electric professional redone with Victron charger/inverters and closed waterproof electric boards. The interior has been rebuilt for greater cruising comfort. See detailed description and pictures enclosed.



Pure fast and comfortable safe handling for two persons. Perfect for Two Star races or fully crewed races. But also, a perfect boat for cruising with enthusiastic family, sailings schools or social projects and coaching events.  Absolutely worth seeing and ready to go for the next happy owner.

Engine:
Perkins Prima 50 HP diesel, well serviced, runs perfectly
Gori 4-blade folding propeller

Keel:
Deep eclipse form lead keel, that gives high stability and good upwind speed close to windward
Constructed with lot of strong keel bolts and solid carbon and armid fiber frame

Hull and deck
Full epoxy carbon / armid  ( Kewlar )   sandwich construction for weight optimizing, high stiffness, durability and isolation. No condensation on the inside. No floppy panels under heavy conditions. Just speed, fun and comfort.
Hull is white painted in AwlGrip and deck light gray with anti skid.

Sails:
Mainsail kewlar with Harken cars for easy and safe handling
Hight Tech head sail with furler and carbon head stay
Several spinnakers.  Conditions used but okay

Interior:
Central part of the interior have been rebuilt for better cruising comfort
Large pantry port side, with gas stove with 4 burners and oven, and large zink
Fridge/freezer 100 L with external compressor
2 sofa/bunks in front of mast with folding down table
¾ bed starboard side aft with comfort mattress
2 adjustable frame bunks backboard side aft.
8 sleeping places totally
All cushions are alcantara and looks like new.
Lots of large dry white painted storage below cabin floor
Large water tanks that also can be used as extra ballast 360L

Sprayhood with cockpit tent extension
Wind shades on lifelines at both side of the cockpit
